Whilst other examinations, the College does not in any way consider tho mere passing of examinations as covering its pur pose, nor is undue attention pveaJP athletics. The College teeks to mould a boy's character by the teaching o religion, by the adoption of tne House system (which encourages » boy to think for his House rather than for himself), and by allowing the. grea. est'possible measure of self-go\ernnwin to the prefects of the school. "The staff of the College is regulated on the basis of one mr.ster for gery twenty boys. Th* ensures the classes are not toc> larj*e. numerous scholarships and exhibitions So at the College.
