DEER-STALKING.
LICENSES ISSUED. Thirty-three-applications for licenses to stalk deef in the Rakaia and Poulter river forests were received by the North Canterbury Acclimatisation Society. Licenses have been issaed to the following. The ballot for blocks will take place on the 10th inst.:— Rakaia Forest. G.
