Abdul Kariin, the pretender to tho throne of Afghanistan, who has been waging war against the Amir for some months, is now a prisoner in Kabul. Official opinion is inclined to minimise the importance of the rebellion. Karim's claim is openly ridiculed byb a section of the rebels.
