' Captain Gift, of the Manuka, and tho majority of his officers, engineers, and crew aro to transfer to tho Mttrama. Mr Anderson will bo chief engineer of the Marama.

The New Zealand Shipping Company advise that the Rotomu, arrived at Southampton on November 23rd from Wellington. The ves3ol left Wellington on October 16th. The Cumberland, with West -of England cargo, is now duo at Lyttelton from Wellington to-morrow. As she liaa a large amount of cargo for local dischaxgo, she will remain in port for four or five days. Tha Atbenio is to leave Auckland to-mor-row for Lyttelton, to put out the remainder of her London cargo. The vessel will aft:-r----wards load at Port Chalmers, Lyttelton, Napier, and Wellington. The Athenic will sail from Wellington on December 33rd for Southampton and London, via Monte Video and Teneriffe.

With cargo from Now York, tho A. and A. liner Kentucky arrived at Lyttelton yesterday morning from Wellington. The vessel is expected to get away to-day for Dunedin. The New Zealand Shipping Co. advise that the Jiuahino arrived at Colon on November 21st from London and Southampton, and left Panama on November 2'2-rid for Wellington and Lyttelton. She is due at Wellington on_ December 11th and at Lyttelton a weok later.

Due to-day from Bluff and Dunedin, the C. und D. liner Port Campbell will load to-day for New York, Boston, and London. Sho is expected to get away to-night or to-morrow for Wellington, Napier, and Auckland, being set <iown to leave the lastmentioned port about Deoomber 10th. Under charter to J. A. Redpflth and Sons, Ltd., tho Coalana, left Newcastle on 25th instant with a cargo of Aberdare and Bellbird coal for Lyttelton. She is due about December Ist.

The Quebec City remain in port until about Wednesday next, having S3 tons of general cargo, 6000 cases of motor spirit, and 15C0 tons of bitumen to land.
