The Rugby game is being enthusiastically taken up in Poland, and there is talk" of arranging matches with some of the French clubs. It is thought to l>e better adapted to the Polish temperament than "Soccer," and it may be that, in years to come, when a Polish national XV. is) seen in Zealand, their forwards will show in the loose that headlong impetus which has bee» characteristic of Polish cavalry from medieval times. The only difficulty is that the rules cannot be translated into Polish without the use of rather cumbrous paraphrases, which might hold up the game!
