At present the class of patient (applying for treatment is, I much re;gret to say, an advanced one, but ! iope that soon we shall see patients in ian earlier stago of illness and in .these cases treatment holds out much 'better -prospects of success. - A.'letter was also received from Dr. Jazarus Barlow, of tho Essex Cancer Research Laboratory, in which lie referred in the highest terms to Dr. Fen.Tfick's zeal and ability. _ lie chairman (Mr H. J. Otley) sain that tho Board had already written to Dr. Barlow expressing its deep sense indebtedness and; gratitude to him ;for his assistance in establishing the ;Board's radium department. No man could have done more for them thai> .Dr. Barlow had done.
