CHRISTMAS FAIR.

*— A large Christmas Fair, in aid of tho Colombo street Baptist -Church, will bp opened this afternoon at 3 o'clock by the Mayor, and continued to-morrow and on Saturday. Special features to-day will be a concert by Miss Millicent Jennings's pupils at S p.m. and selections during the evening by Mr Claude Williams's orchestra. To-morrow, at 7.30 p.m., a girls' Highland dancing competition will be hold, and on Saturday., at 3 p.m., a children's fancy dress parade will be held. Large and varied stocks of goods will be offered for sale.
