DUNELM SCHOOL.
ANNUAL SPORTS. The annual sports of Dunelm boys' private preparatory school were held yesterday under ideal weather conditions, at the Eiccarton racecourse. The eve'nts were run on tine big lawn in front of the main stand, and the site was an excellent one from both competitors' and spectators' viewpoint. There was a good attendance of parents and friends. At the conclusion of the sports Mr C. E. Ferris, principal of the school, briefly addressed the pupils, and introduced the Ven. Archdeacon Haggitt, who presented tho prizes. Archdeacon Haggitt congratulated the .boys on tiheir Bports, and upon their school, which, he said, had grown from very Bmall beginnings to its pi'esont size and status. The pupils would look in future years to their early days at tho school. He then presented the prizes to the successful competitors. The results were a3 follows: Fathers' race—Mr T. Bain 1, Mr G. L.
