{ ANNUAL MEETING. The fourteenth annual meeting of tho Xew Brighton Surf Club was held on Thursday Mr A. AW Owles presiding. The annual report and balance-sheet (already published) were adopted. The election of officials resulted as follows Patron, Mr H. F. Wigram; president, Mr A. AV. Owles: vice-presidents, Messrs T. G. Fox, F. D. Stokes, E. W. Clarkson. L. C. Matson, and C.'Brvant; club captain, Mr C. A. Cooper: vice-captain, Mr H. Throp; honorary instructor, Mr H.' S. Feast; honorary treasurer, Mr L. AV. Tosawill: honorary secretary, Mr A. K. Summerfield; honorary auditors, Messrrs AV. A. Smith and J. Ainger: honorary surgeons, Dr. AY. E. Stevens and Dr. W. T. Glasgow; honorary solicitor, Mr A. T. Donnelly; committee, Messrs J. Broome, F. S. Taylor, O. C. X). Lundins. AV. Robertson, AV. C. Flewellyn, C. W. Smith, X. F. .McDowell, A. Juriss, and S. Patterson; Se'pclion Committee, Messrs 11. S. Feast, C. A. Copper, and JC. F. McDowell: delegates to Xew Brighton Sports Association, Messrs H. Throp and C. A. Cooper. Mr F. D. Stokes was unanimously elected a, life member. The rules, as revised, were aooptcd.
