He was for 50 years connected with the New South Wales Labour movement. CAPTAIN J. J. SYMONDS. (Received October 16th, 1.20 a.m.) SYDNEY, October 15. The death is announced of Captain J. J. Symonds, of the steamer Ceramic which arrived from Liverpool on Monday. He was engaged for many years in the New Zealand trade.
