The crisis lias taken a new turn by t.he action of the Liberals in bringing forward an amendment to the Conservative motion of censure on the Government in the matter of the "Workers' Weekly" prosecution. The position now is full of dramatic possibilities. Ireland. The Treaty Amending Bill has passed the Commons without amendment. It is reported that Lord Carson has declined the offer of the Ulster commissionership from Mr MncDonald. The League. The Assembly has concluded its sittings. Harvest workers in Australia threaten a strike. The work of restoring Belgium is nearing completion. Japan is buying wheat heavily in Australia.
