OLD BOYS' CRICKET CLUBS
MAY AFFILIATE WITH C. AND S. ASSOCIATION. The Old Boys of Christ's College and the Boys' High School may endeavour to affiliate their cricket clubs with the City and Suburban Association. A meeting of the old boys of both schools will probably be held tonight or to-morrow night to decide on a course of action. The refusal of the Canterbury Cricket Association to grant affiliation to the clubs has been protested against by many old boys, and they seem in no mood to take the decision as an insuperable barrier to their club cricket this season. Should the City and Suburban Association grant the applications. none of which has as yet been received, the Canterbury Association's senior competition "is "bound to be affected, perhaps seriously, by players joining in with their school clubs.
