1.0. G.T.
The Grand Lodge, 1.0. G.T., which was in 187S in the Foresters' Hall, Osford terrace, celebrated its 30th anniversary on Tuesday. The G.L. officers and many visitors were present from other towns. In the afternoon a session was held, 33r0. T. H. Dalton, G.C.T. presiding. The G.L. decree v/as conferred on several candidates. A*erwards tea was laid, a number of guests sitting down to wcll-iaden tables. An_ outstanding feature was a handsome birthday caks, from the ten 'is of which floated the miniature silken il*Z of the Order, the latter being presented to the G.C.T. In evening a reunion of past and present members was held, tho G.C.T. presiding. Addresses were given by the G.L. officers, and representatives of the 1.0. R. and Sons cf Temperance. A framed illuminated testimonial" to her long service in the Order was presented to Sister Gnnneli, P.G.S.J.W. (Ohristchurch). Items were contributed by Mesdames McLaren, H. Cummins, and Wilkinson and Messrs It. Cummins and Price. Refreshments were dispensed, and the proceedings closed with the singing of tlw National Anthem.
