Members of the Council ot the New Zealand Footbail Association, tendered & farewell dinner to the Chinese team to-night, when the manager, Mr A. Dome, and each member of tha team was presented with, a Xew Zealand as » memento of the tonr. An additional iuj was presented to Mr Dome to ttka to Dr. Gray, in recognition ct hi 3 services in organising- the team in Chins. Congratulatory apeeches followed, and it was agreed the tour h2d done much good in promoting Soccer throughout the Dominion. It was stated that the condition of Chang, who is in the Christchurch Hospital, showa an improvement. Wanj will remain until Chans is recovered. The team, which was entertained later at a cabaret dance, sails to-morrow in the ITanaka for Sydney. The profit on ffie tour was about- £IOOO.
