Mr Barrett, on behalf of the Canteraurv Club. espressed the appreciation or the members of that body for the courtesy and hospitality extended them by the returned men in their fine and up-to-date clnb, -which ■was second to none in the Dominion. Mr C. Wood ''Canterbury Club) ate> expressed thanks for the hospitality extended. Mr W. E. In the match between Ritchie {R.S.A.) and Rhodes (C.C.), the ktter defaulted, owing to Ritchie winning the two previous matches. Gordon (C.C.) beat Forrest (E.S.A.). H. J. Sniffht (R.S.A.) 17, Wood (C.C.) 31. Wood won the second and Knight the third game. Measra Wilson, Crawford, Morton, and Mitchell were the official markers. Mr H. Fleck was in charge of the entertaining oi the gests.
