MADRID, September 19.

An official communique reports that an attempt to relieve a post at Qorgoic was fiercely resisted by the enemy. The operation will be continued to-day. A Spanish aeroplane was shot down and caught fire, tho occupants, a captain and a sergeant, being killed. Interviewed by the Madrid correspondent of "Le Journal," a high military authority strongly denied' reports of negotiations between Spain and Abdelkrim on the Basis of terms proposed by the Riff 3 last year. He declared the army would not agree to a humiliating peace dependent on the evacuation of Tetuan, which would amount to tho betrayal of international agreements and lead to a revolution ia Spain.
