LADIES' CHAMPIONSHIPS. TOURNAMENT OPENS TO-DAY. (»r«ci±L to "th* rwess. ') AUCKLAND, September IS. The New Zealand Ladies' Golf Championship Meeting at Hamilton will open somewhat inauspiciously. It was intended to play inter-island teams' matches to-day, .but the weather was so unfavourable that postponement had to be made, and the idea was abandoned. The Championship. The' first round of the championship will be played to-morrow. The first pair will start at 9 a.m.,. followed by tho others in the championship at -intervals of four minutes.
