He had got the opinion from an expert that it was more dangerous to empty and refill tanks in trucks than to leavo them.filled. Mr L. A. said that tho insurance companies made restrictions as to tho quantity of benzine allowed to bo kept on one's premises, but 110 restrictions wero imposed in respect of the benzine kept in a tank of a car. Mr A. Russell said that ho hoped the regulation would bo amended so as to allow at least half a gallon of benzine in tho tanks on which to drivo a car off a truck. Another member cxprcsesd tho opinion that it was not tho question of danger that concerned tho Railway Department, but possible 1 loss of revenue. Tho remit was carried.
