His friends declare he has discovered also manuscripts older than Livy, relating to early Christianity; but critics deny the possibility of his alleged discovery of a contemporary Lif° °f Christ.

His mother has written to the Press denying that he is offering to Bell the Livy manuscripts to America.

[A further message of the same date says that Dr. Fusco has still nob appeared.]
