MUST BE PRODUCED. (by cable—rasas associatiok— coptbightj (AUSTBALIAK AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATIOK.) (Received September 16th, 9.10 p.m.) ROME, September 15. Dr. Martin Fusco must comply with the law ordaining that such a discovery as that which he claims to have made is notifiable to the Ministry of Instruction. His friends declare he has discovered also manuscripts older than Livy, relating to early Christianity; but critics deny the possibility of his alleged discovery of a contemporary Lif° °f Christ.
His mother has written to the Press denying that he is offering to Bell the Livy manuscripts to America.
[A further message of the same date says that Dr. Fusco has still nob appeared.]
