The «aily spring vegetables, cabbage, and lettuce are looking fine, and good returns are being received. Euchre Party. A progressive euchre party in connexion with St. Mary's Spring Show was held in the Sunday Schoolroom on Saturday evening, The prises were won by Mrs Hill and Mr W. "Wilson. Supper was served by the ladies, after which a dance was held, MSes E. Williams supplying the music. Personal. On Sunday the Sydenham Methodist Y.M.B.C. room was the scene of a tea meeting, at which the Y.W.B.C. were also present, in honour of K. and N. Loney, two members of the / class, who. are leaving Sydenham to reside in Heethcote. L. Mitchell, leader of the Y.M.B.C, the Bev. P. Paris, and Mr E. Wear, secretary of the Sunday School, expressed sorrow at the loss of two such members, who had been the "backbone of the class." K. Loney suitably responded for himself and his brother, who was absent on account of a slight indisposition. A small presentation was made to the brothers.
