Browning, explained tha- the Ground Committee of the Association **as anxious that tha ludy playera should use tho courts at Wilding Park, and r had b«n suggested thsfc progressive toutMmeals might be held at interval. Mrs Lord expressed the ©pinion the the mid-week tounninent idea for ladies would be very popular. . It was resolved that the finst prog*r««v» tournament be held on Wcdn«ad»y, AiigtHi 20th, commencing at 1.15 p.rn.
