Euchre Party. The euchre (party held, in the schoolroom ©n Saturday evening again drew a very large crowd. Miss T. Wyman and Mr R. Newton won the prises and Miss N. Gray and Mr H. PerkiM tho '"booby" prises. Items were contributed by Miss Slater, /Mrs Sbadbolt, Messrs Nelson and Smith, with Misa Sinclair «s pianist. After supper a. short dance was held. Tennis Club. A Bulf-committee appointed to report on the state of ths grounds, met on the tennis courts on Saturday afternoon, and it was decided to get tha opinion of an expert as- to what was required. Football. Tie fourth grade gasne on Saturday proved rather disappointing, the team cat showing ths same form aa it did Marists. The backs showed poor combination and there was _ a lack oi hooking from the serums, which starved the two good wingers, but on the other hand, there were some mod individual flashes. The team is etill first equal esd will probably meet Hornby is the final. . The local scbcei team drew with the LytteJton B.H.S, on Monday, 3 jpodnta Daoet. A da»ce, to be run by Mr Chris. Smith, will be held is the Club Hall this evening. Bettle'e Orchestra will be in attendance.
