SHIPPING NOTES. The Calm is duo to-day from Wellington and is to soil this afternoon for Bluff and Dunedin. The Tees, from the Chatham Islands, 13 expected to-day. The John, due to-night from Wanganui, will load to-morrow for Wolliagton, Wanganui and New Plymouth, Tha Wanaka is to soil to-day with cargo for Dunedin and Bluff.

The Orepuki is timed to sail to-morrow with general cargo for Wellington, Weatport and Greymouth. Sho is dua to-day from T-rakoho. The Flora is expected to-morrow morning from Timaru to load for Napier and Gisborne. . The Nttvua. should be here to-morrow from Dunedin to load for Auckland. ' The next passenger boat from Sydney will be tho Manuka, which is to leave the Australian port on Friday next, and is due at Wellington on August sti*. Captain Summers-v m© is in command. The Corintliic left Auckland resterdpy afternoon for completion of discharge of London cargo at Lyttelton, and is due here on inday morning. She afterwards 10-<da at Lyttelton, Gisborne, Napier and Wellington. The Corinthio is duo at Wellington on August 14th, and is to sail finally from there at daybreak on August 21st for Southampton and London, via Monte Video and Tcneriflfe.
