• The Arawa. which ■ left Wellington on June Brd for Southampton, via Panama', is reported to have arrived at. her destination on Saturday last. Cable' advice has been received by the C and D.' Lino that the Fort Bowen, which left Wellington on the afternoon of May 31st, arrived at London on Sunday morning. The British' Imperial Oil Company's steamer Havre arrived here yesterday from Dunedin to put out a further portion of her cargo 'of case oil from Singapore. The vessel is to sail for Wellington towards the end of this week. . ,
The Union Co.'s R.M.S. Maunganui is to sail from Sydney to-day for Wellington direct. She will arrive there on Monday next, and is timed to continue on her voyage to. San Francisco,. via* Rarotonga and Papeete, at 3 p.m. the following day. The A and'A. Line agency, has been advised that the Tremere sailed from" New York on July 9th with cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, Dunedin, and Blufi. She is due at Auckland, on August 13th, and at Wellington a week later.
The Dutch steamer Schouwen, which arrived in the stream at Wellington on Monday night, berthed'at the Sing's Wharf on Tuesday morning to put out a large quantity of Australian, hardwood to the agency of Millars West Australian Hardwood Company ' The vessel is to leave Wellington to-morrow for. Lyttelton to complete discharge
The New Zealand. Shipping Company's Kemuera left Lyttelton yesterday for loading at Timaru, a,nd will later return to Lyttelton. . She will then take in cargo at Napier and Wellington, and is due at Wellington on July 27th. The Seinuera is fixed-to sail from Wellington on July 2&th for Plymouth and London.
Captain F. E. Naylor, who is at present tnate of the steamer Orepuki, tum. beenapi pointed second assistant pilot by the Wanganui Harbour Board. He will up his 'duties-on 'August-Ist.
The C. and D. Line advises that the Port Hunter was due at Bluff on Wednesday afternoon from Port Kembla to commence leading for New York, Boston, and London. TliJ vessel will subsequently take in cargo at Port Chalmers, Timaxu, Lyttelton, "Wellington, Napier, Gisborne, and Auckland. Slio is expected at Wellington on July 28th, and is to sail from Auckland about August 6th.

She is of €OOO tons deadweight capacity. On her trie! trip she maintained a speed of newly 12 knots. After completion of discharge in New Zealand tlie vessel will .be.handed over to her owners.
