Cabinet yesterday discussed the recent xNoto from tho French Legation saying that it understood that the China-German Agreement which had LHjeu reached contravened the Treaty of Versailles as regards the disposal of German property, and tho Legation reserved the right to protest.
Cabinet resolved to forward an early reply. The Government lias received a telegram from General Wu Pei Fu urging that both the British and American returned Boxer indemnities should to used for railway construction.
The British, Japanese and French Legations have submitted another formal protest to Wai Chia Pu regarding Dr. Sun Yat Sen's recent establishment of a ealt adminisfation a& Canton.
