POULTRY CLUB.
A meeting ■ of■ tho Christcliurch Poultry Club WR6 held last night, Mr G. E, Jeffries presiding over a. good attendance, Mr T. E. Y. Seddon.V secretary of the Greymoiith S'oultry Club, wrote forwarding a prize schedule for the Greymouth Poultry Show, which will be hold on July 25th and 26th He intimated that cutrics would close on July 12th, and not July 19th as was previously stated. The letter was received. The chairman drew attention to the tact that club members exhibiting in unaffiliated bodies' shows came under tho ban of disqualification—a penalty, which held good with "both..the North and South Island Aesocia■The' secretary reported that to d?te 300 entries had been received for tho Tx-angiora Poultry Show,, which was to be held in, the near future, and stated that no doubt this number would be considerably augmented during the next tew days.
