Mails close as under:— To-day, Wednesday, June 18th. •For Northern Porta, 3.45 p.m.; late fee letters, <.15 p.m.; guard's "van, 5.20 p.m. train. Parcels, 2 P.m. For Noumea, per Antinous, 3.45 p.m.; late fee letters, 4.15 p.m.; guard's van, 5.23 p.m. train. Incoming Oversea Mails. R.JI.S. Niagara left Vancouver for Auckland on June 4th. She carries 612 bags of mail from United Kingdom, 45 bags from Canada, and 106 parcel receptacles" for New Zealand. Mail due Christchurch on June 26fn. Maheno left Sydney, for "Wellington, on 13th inst. Sho carries 41 bags mail for Christchurch. Due Christchurch to-day. Moeraki left Melbourne for Wellington on 14th instant. She carries twenty-four bags mail for Christchurch. Due Christchurch on Thursday. Outgoing Oversea Mails. Mails for Australian States and the East per Maheno, from Wellington, will cloee in Christchurch at 5.45 p.m. on June 19th. Mails which left Wellington April ■ 29th, via San Francisco, arrived London on May 27th. Mails for United Kingdom, Europe, and Central America, via Pitcairn Island and Panama, per Rotorua, will close at Christchurch on Juno 21st, at 5.45 p.m. (Specially addressed correspondence only.) Mails for United States, Canada, United Kingdom, and Continent of Europe, via San Francisco/ per Tahiti, from Wellington, June 24th, will close in Christchurch at 5.45 p.m., June 23rd.
