ACCOUNTANT STUDENTS' SOCIETY.
A meeting of the Chriatchurcli Accountant Students' Society nas held on Mortday, Mr F. N. Lawrence presiding. The purpose of the meeting nas to hold a trial debate, in order to choose & to represent the eociety in the forthcooiing debates against the South Canterbury and the Wellington Accountant Students' Societies. The subof tho trial debate was the samo as thai which will be debated against the S<?uth. At the conclusion of the cjebate, th? motion watt put to the meeting! and was declared lost. The judge then Announced that Messrs G. E. pickett, H. W. Armitage and it. C. Kent h4d been chosen to represent the society in its debates
