ANNUAL MEETING

The aanual meeting of the New Zealand Duck Club was held in the club's rooms last night, Mr R. W. Hawke presiding over a good attendance of members.

The annual report stated that the year closed after a series of, successful educational evenings. Two shows had been held in the club's Tooms, and a field day had been held at Papanui. A new departure maae at the Christchurch Poultry Club's recent annual Bhow was an exhibit of small goods made entirely from duck eggs, and Bpecial thanks were due to Mrs W. A. Gee who organised the exhibition. ' The balance-sheet showed a Credit balance of £8 18s 3d. The report and balance-sheet were adopted. It was decided that copies of the report and balance-sheet be printed and distributed) to members out of Christchurch. The election of officers for the ensuing l year resulted as follows:—Patron, Mr Willoughby Knight; president, Mr Alex Peat; vice-presidents, Tho Mayor (Mr J. A. Plesher), Messrs Geo.
