PHARUS SEASON.
ANOTHER MATINEE FOR WOMEN
. All seats for the special women's matinee at the Liberty Theatre to-morrow afternoon were booked at The Bristol by last night,, hot a single seat being left to be sold at the doors. After the closing of this plan scores of women otill clamoured for seats, so the management immediately got in touch with Phajus, and it was decided,' so as not to disappoint those who had been unable to secure seats for to-morrow's matinee, to give another special ladies' matinee on Friday, at 2.30 p.m. The plan tor this matinee ie n6w open at • The Bristol, and those desirous of attending would do wc!i to book immediately, as otherwise disappoint-: ment will 'again be their share.'
Pharus will remain in Christchurch Until Saturday, on which evening he will anaks his final appearance. An oidinary matinee will be given to-day, when Pharus will appear in conjunction with the Liberty programme. . On Saturday Pharus, will also appear in {he afternoon as well , as in the evening.
