The Rome correspondent of "Tbo Times" says that relations botweun Home and Moscow have never before been so cordial as now. From various sources comes «m» firmation of tho rumour that M. Rykoff recently visited Borne and had conversations with Signo* Mussolini. It is believed he arrived in Italy from Vienna, and the Italian Government is said to havo facilitated his passage at the frontier, where M. Jlykotf was presented with a passport bearing the name of "Engineer Popoff" in order to avoid recognition.
Evkoff, it is said, did not even visit tho Kussian Embassy, but stayed at a private hotel for the two days during which bo ba<l meetings with Signor Mussolini. , THE SOVIET'S SYSTEM. TROTSKY FAVOURS MODIFICATION. ("THE nMBS.") BOMB, May 14. "Popolo d'ltalia," the official organ of the Fascist!, publishes an interview with M. Trotsky, who i» reported to have said:— .. THE EMBASSY TROUBLE.

MOSCOW, May 14. Dr. Rantzau, German Ambassador", and M. Litvinoff, Foreign Commissary, had a lengthy conference in reference to the Berlin incident.
The latter demanded the customary apologies, recognition of the extraterritoriality of the foreign Mission, the punishment, of those responsible for the searching of the trade delegation's offices, and payment of an indemnity. The Russc-German Railway Conference, for which German delegate*, have arrived, has been postponed owing to the dispute between the two Governments.
