The Wakatu ia due hack during this morninn" from a special trip to Xaikouxa, Sho is-to load to-day tor iUikoura and Veilington. .. The-Calm,ia to load to-day for' Wellington and Wanganui. 'the Gale, due to-day from Wellington, is to load for Dunedin and Timaru. The Holnidaio is expected to-morrow from Timaru 10 load for Wellington and Wanganui. The Kennedy loads here on Monday for Foxton. The Wairau, due on ■ Sunday from Blenheim, is to load here on Monday for that port. The Wingatui will not complete loading for Napier, Gisborne, and Auckland untU to-morrow. ..,..- The KaitangaU arrived yesterday afternoon from Dunedin with Adelaide cargo for discharge. Sho is to load for Auckland, sailing -Monday. The Sussex, with Eastern cargo, is now 'due here from Wellington on Tuesday. The We.ikouaiti.is expected here this morning from Timaru to discharge coal from Newcastle and general cargo from Sydney. She ia to load here for -Sydney direct, sailing l Tuesday. Captain F. L. G. Jaunty, of the Kaituna, haa come ashore for instructions, and Ha place ,ia being filled by Captain G. B Morgan, Igg the Eaiaw*.
Captain 0. Clift liaa reumed commend of the. Murama, and Captain J. Mawson, who has. been temporarily in command, has come ashor'o for instructions. ' Mr H. A. Biockett, who haa_ been on holiday, leavo, has joined the Kaiapoi .as chief officer, and Mr E. Griffiths, who haa been acting chief officer on this vessel, hie como ashore, for orders. Mr 0. T. Robb has joined the Marama S3 fourth officer, taking the place of Mr J. M. Hood, who haa come ashore. Mr A. H. Crawley, fourth angineer of the Navua, has transferred to the Mftunganui in a similar capacity.- . ' v - Mr W. C. Murray, third engineer, haa left the Maunjanui. , .< The Marino Court of Enquiry into the loaa of the collier Astral, which was overwhelmed bv a heavy sea off Barrenjoey Head, found that: the vessel foundered througn surinsrinß a leak. The Wahino left Lyttelton yesterday ; afternoon for Port Chalmers, where, it is stated, she ia to be converted-to *ah oil-burner. The Maori, leaving Wellington yesterday morning, mad is a daylight trip to Lyttelton, arriving last evening. She brought forty passengers. The Miaori left again Iflfifc evening for Wellington.
