Switzerland and Belgium, .the Roumanian King and Queen were this morning escorted across the Channel by four British destroyera and five, aeroplanes and landed at Dover, where they were met by the Prince of .Wales' and travelled by train to London.: On arrival there they were cordially® welcomed by the King and Queen aid Mr Mac Donald and other Ministers And distinguished , personages. The visitors I and their British Majesties then drove through the cheering crowds and -be-1 flagged streets to Buckingham Palace. Tho visit will last four days. (AUSTRALIAN AND X.X. CABLB ASSOCIATION.) LONDON, May 'l7. The King and Queen oi Roumania •were welcomed by the King-and-Queen 1 and' the Prince of Wales at Victoria Station. King George conferred ithe Order of the Garter on the visiting King at a State banquet at' Buckingham Palace to-night. ,
