CAPPING CARNIVAL.
TO-DAY'S PJRGCESSION. .The Canterbury' College capping procession, which is . to take place 'today, is timed to leave the College at 10 a.m/ The procession-will bo led by a large and handsome" drum-major, whilst s two "Woolston'' and the '' Christchurch \|Tramways' '■— will be in attendance. In addition to the royal car and a car bearing, the labour Cabinet? a large number of other stunts, botli wheel and pedestrian, have been arranged. / The reception of the Studens Rex and the Queen will take place at the Grand Theatre.. The procession after leaving the Grand Theatre will proceed down Gloucester street to Manchester street, and . thence past the Clock, Tower up High street, to Cashel street, where a turn; willifb# made into CoIqmbo street, and thence, the procession will proceed, to'; the v ßeresf6rd.
