Greymoath-Reefton Trains. Becently the lnangahua County Council made representations to the district traffic manager, N_Z.B., Grevmouth, to have the train service between Greymonth and Beefton accelerated. The following commnaication has now been received:—"l haTe to advise yoa that it is not practicable to provide foster running than the timetable provided. The volnme of traffic is not yet sufficient to warrant a purely passenger train. I have been looking into the causes of the late running of the evening train to Beefton. WesUaad Hospital Board. At last night's meeting of the "Westland . Hospital Board, a letter was received from the Minister of Health 'stating that he was unable to make a grant of £2OOO for the Old People's Heme. It was resolved to make a fury tfcer application for a grant of £IBOO.

■The .delegates at-the Hibernian Conference opening to-morrow at Westport will represent districts in every put of New Zealand from Dargaville in tbe north to lavcrcargill in the sontb.
