Greymoath-Reefton Trains. Becently the lnangahua County Council made representations to the district traffic manager, N_Z.B., Grevmouth, to have the train service between Greymonth and Beefton accelerated. The following commnaication has now been received:—"l haTe to advise yoa that it is not practicable to provide foster running than the timetable provided. The volnme of traffic is not yet sufficient to warrant a purely passenger train. I have been looking into the causes of the late running of the evening train to Beefton. Hospital Board, a letter was received from the Minister of Health 'stating that he was unable to make a grant of £2OOO for the Old People's Heme.
