MONTHLY MEETING. The monthly.; meeting of the - Rangiora High School . Board was held last , night. Present: Messrs R. Bill (dhairma-i), HT. Boyd, W. Stalker, C. W. Bell, J. Marshall, and C. I. Jennings. A letter waa received from the Director of Education dealing with several matters regarding the scn-oi which Mr" Jennings had p.aced beiore him wflfen in VVeiiingtoii recently. - ' . ALr Jennings reported in detail oa- his interview wuh the director and >aa thanks tor the service he had rendered the B-crd. Miss Garrett, commercial teacher, resigning from thj stait as July Ist on account of retiring irom the ttac..ingprofession. The resignation was accepted and it was decided to forward Miss Garrett a letter oi appreciation : of her service. The Education- Board- wrote notify.ng the reappointment of Mr W. Stakar as iti. ■ represent*.tive on .the. Board. On behalf of the Agr.cultural Ccmmittee, Mr Stalker submit tea thd balance she t in connexion with the waeit crjp on 7J acres of the school farm. The crop yielded just over 40--bus.iels an - acre, ani the wheat and straw was sold for £IOO 9s. The expenditure was £45 12s 6d, leaving a credit balance of £54 10s 6d.
