0 SYDNEY, April 26. An elderly man named John Mulcaster Nicholson was found lying on the road near Warren with a gaping wound on his forehead and minor injuries. He was taken to hospital, where he died. He stated that a quarrel developed between two men whom he endeavoured to pacify. He was knocked down, kicked, and struck on the head with a stick. Subsequently two men were arrested.
