LONG TACK SAM'S FAREWELL.
Musgrove's Vaudeville Company concluded its New Zealand season in the Theatre Royal on Saturday night, when ' there was a big house. Thanks principally to the attraction of Long Tack Sam and his .clever Chineso troupe, the New Zealand tour has been a most successful one, and has placed vaudeville entertainment on a very high plane. . The Long Tack Sam Company leave for Wellington to-night, en route to . China. After the final curtain on Saturday night, Long Tack Sam spoke a few words of farewell. He, said thertpeople of New Zealand "had been wonderful" to them, and the members of his troupe, and was looking forward to a return visit to New Zealand after his trip to China. He paid a tribute to the members of the Vaudeville Company, especially mentioning "The Two Vagabonds," and particularly thanked Mr Irvine Elston, the manager, ior hia co-operation. Long Tack Sam's nice little speech was received with enthusiastic applause.
