IN POOR HEALTH.

The Government of Bombay having received medical advice that Mr Gandhi's health was such that ho should be removed for a prolonged period of convalescence, decided with the concurrence of the Raj to remit unconditionally the unexpired portion of his sentence. The decision takes effect immediately.
A CHARGE FAILS

(Received February sth, 5.C p.m.) DELHI, February 4. Abdul Kaslii Khan, sou of the Nawab of Tonk, was acquitted at Allahabad on charges of killing a Sopoy and being a member of an unlawful assembly. The charges were brought in connexion with the Hindu-Mohammedan riots at Ajmer in July.
