WOOLLEN COMPANY'S PICNIC.
The Wellington Woollen Manufacturing Co. held their annual picnic in the Kllesmere Reserve at Selwyn Huts last Saturday. There was a large attendance of employees and their friends. Mr Kirk, one of the directors from WeJington, commenced the sports witli a noveity event for the ladies, for which he gave a special prize, tne winner being Hiss C. Reid.
