ANNUAL PICNIC. ■ The thirty-fourth aiuiu-.il picnic of "Weeks, Ltd., was held on Saturday at Kairaki Beach, a. luage crowd travelling out and back by motor, The weather was fine and an enjoyable time was spent. The results of the races were as follows: Apprentices—J. Spence 1, C. Dick 2, H. Turnoull 3. ■ . Boys—A. "Woolcock 1, It. Walker 2, J. Clark 3. Weaks' Handicap (ladies)—M:S3 D. Pring 1, Miss il. Gray 2, Hiss L. Walker 3. Thread the Xeedle—Miss A. Croea and Mr H. Hill 1. Weeks' Handicap (men)—C. Eobe G. Spence 2, H. Turnbull 3. Elopement Race—Mrs Rowlands and E. Smith. 1. . . Wheelbarrow Race—Miss li. Walker and J. Spence. Noil Driving—Mrs 'Walko£_a, Mrs Beckett. 2. Stenping Conipotition—Hiss M. Walker and H. Turnbull. At the conclusion of the sports the prizes won during ths afternoon were presented by the manager, Mr W. F. Soper.
