- $ STORM IN BRISBANE. (IT CABLE—PBES3 ASSOCIATION COPTEIQST.) (AOaTHAUAN AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION.) (Received January 27th, 5.5 p.m.) BRISBANE, January 26. A severe thunderstorm caused heavy damage in the city and disorganised the electric light and tram services. There were many narrow escapes from death in wrecked buildings.
