PERTH ROBBERY.
AN ARREST MADE.

PEBTH, January 24,
A Frenchman named Paul Lampriere has been arrested in connexion with the po3t office robbery on a charge of stealing £4O. The police state that Lampriere is identical with Claude who, in November la3t, escaped with another prisoner from the Bendigo gaol. Prior to escaping, Devere made an unsuccessful attempt, for which he was sentenced to an additional 18 months.
[At six o'clock in the evening of January 17 th a well-dressed man entered the West Perth Post Office and, covering ail official with a revolver, emptied the cash drawer. He kept the police at bay with his revolver and made hi 3 escape (by compelling a motor driver to drivo off with hjm.J
