The Temika Caledonian Society will hold a 6j>orts gathering- a,t Temuka- on Boxing l Day, December 2fcth. A public meeting will be held on Friday next at S p.m. in the Dunsandel Public Hall and Library for tho purpose of nominating a board of trustees for tile purchase of the hall and library under the Public Reserves Act. A sale of work will be held in Pier Hall, New Brighton, on Saturday and Monday, 15th and 17th inst., in aid of the Iwach Church building fund. The Prebbleton Sport 3 Club will hold a sports meeting on Wednesday, 19th inst. An attractive programme ha 3 been arranged The event of the year in connexion with the St. Albans Methodist Sunday School will take place to-morrow, when, in honour ci the sixty-third anniversary, three brigiit services have been arranged. The preachers will be the Revs. Percy Paris, W. A. Hay, and J. Napier Milne. An important Uature will be musical items by the scholars. At Wesley Church, Fitzgerald avenue, jomorrow, "the Rev. E. D. Patchett will prf-ach in the morning on "Christ's Cure for Unhappiness,'' and in the evening will give his monthly address to young, and young women on "A Definite Goal." Mr Eric Winspear will eing the sacred sclo "The. Lord is my Light," and the choir the anthem "But the Lord is Mindful."'
