An imposing deputation .of women, piloted by a number of members of Parliament, flooded the offc.® oi the Minister of Justice, the Hon. A, L. Leys, demanding the wiping out of the wine bars, which they charged with the responsibility of degrading many women and girls, and other evils. The Minister, in a sympathetic but cautious reply, siad that the Bill now before Parliament would give the people a chance of securing a remedy on a bare majority vote.
