Covering the affected parts with a towel, he placed his mouth firmly on it and, filling his lungß, breathed energetically, as if trying to make his breath penetrate the tissues of the invalid. This action-, which is similar to blowing into one's hand to warm them, was continued for ihree days, and on the fourth day, without any other treatment, the boy was out of danger. The same treatment sncceded, Dr. Durville said, with his wife at a time "when he despaired of her , Ufa.
