LINWOOD SCHOOL.

A meeting of the Linwood School Memorial Committee was held on Monday, Mr H. P. Herbert in the chair. The majority of those present was allotted to the various stalls for the sale of work in December next. Mr Herbert stressed the need of making an effort to ensure the success of the object. The report of the bottle week campaign showed a gratifying success. It iB hoped to raise about £25 by the sale of bottles, and this, with subsidy, will be a good start towards tho object. Many of those present obtained collecting books to help the various stalls. It was decided to meet again in a' fortnight's time to report progress.
