A. & P. ASSOCIATIONS.

——s BANKS PENINSULA. Tho annual meeting of the Bank's PeninBula Agricultural and Pastoral Association was hold nt Little River this week, tho president, Mr H. T. Chapman, in the chair. The president, in his annual report, stated that the thirteenth Annual Show was hold on November 21st, 1922, when tho gate takings were £155 18s 3d, as against £lO2 14a 2d tho year before. He thought it wan advisable to revert to the former'charge for admission of Is. Tho entries were 32 less than the previous year; but, considering that the entries of 192.1 were a record for the Association, he considered thnr. the Association had ■ been very woll oatronised, especially when tho quality of the stock was considered. Although the entries were still satisfactory in numbers, there was a distinct falling off in the stock; classes, which affected tho Show both financially and in popularity. Tho nuances had improved to tho extent of £7O lis Id. Thiß had been mado up by the larger gate receipts, and a saving effected in tho cattle soction by bringing the prize-money down to the same as in the horse soction. Considering that the farming prospects wero brighter, he thought the Show would havo better prospects in the future. The president's report and the balancesheet were adopted. Mr T, Quealey's resignation of tho posi tion of secretary was received with regret, and it was unanimously decided to elect him a life member. Remits for tho Conforonco of Associations were adopted.
