THE INSURANCES. (BMCIAi TO "TODS IBMl") DUNEDIN, July 12. Private information received in Dunedin to-day assesses the loss by the fire in the Shaw, Savill Co.'s wool stores at Bluff at, roughly, £60,000. (r-aias ASSOCIATION tilbgbamO INVERCARGILL, July 12. The insurances on the wool and grain stored in the Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company's store at Bluff, which was destroyed by fire on Wednesday, are now available. The building, which is valued at between £SOOO and £6OOO, is insured in London. The 1400 bales of wool destroyed were owned by Messrs 11. and F. Wallis, of Gore, who had 1200 odd bales valued at between £14,000 and £15,000, and insured in. London. Messrs Kirk and Co. had 122 bales insured for £SOOO in the Alliance Company, and Kingsland Bros, and Anderson 55 bales valued at between £I2OO and £I3OO insured with the National' Office. Three thousand five hundred sacks of grain were destroyed. Eighteen hundred belonging to Murray, Roberts and Co. were covered in Dunedin, and 1600 belonging to Kirk and Cb. were insured in the Alliance Office for £IOOO. Two hundred sacks of wheat belonging to Fleming and Co. were insured. T. H. Watson "had 120 bales of hemp destroyed, valued at £7OO, and insured for that amount in Christchurch.
