WARREN GANG SENTENCED. (BY CABLE —PHESS ASSOCIATION —COPYRMHT.) (AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION.) (Received July 10th. 7.40 p.m..) LONDON, July 9. Th© trial of the international gang of criminals comprising Australians has concluded. Sir Walter Cockerline, Hull shipowner, wag awarded an order for the restoration of 1,800,000 francs against Warren, being the amount of which he had been defrauded. Edward Lewis, another member of the gang, was sentenced, in absentia, to five years' imprisonment. Warren was found guilty of international jewel robberies and fiauds, and was sentenced to five years' imprisonment, Evans to three years, O'Brien and O'Connor to two years, and D'ixon and Donovan to six months' imprisonment.
